In 2007, Barefoot Wine and their friends at the Surfrider Foundation, a grassroots not-for-profit environmental organization dedicated to preserving the world’s oceans, waves and beaches, launched the Barefoot Wine Beach Rescue Project to make and keep America’s beaches “barefoot-friendly.”
Together, we toured around the country, helping beaches through cleanups and native plantings. Afterwards, we thanked volunteers with celebrations that included live music, beach-inspired food and of course, Barefoot Wine. This summer, we’re back!
Help A Beach Near You
We’ll be visiting four NEW beaches and lakes this year so more people can get Barefoot and have a great time.
Singer/songwriter Tristan Prettyman will join volunteers to make these areas “barefoot-friendly” and perform songs from her new album Hello at the celebrations afterwards. At the first event on May 31, she’ll be joined by her good friend musician G. Love (of G. Love & Special Sauce)! Check out their music videos by clicking on the link on the surfboard to the left.
