Barefoot® Cellars Forms Alliance with Republic
Beverage and Block Distributing In the Great State of Texas
Santa Rosa, California, May 5, 2004 - Grape
Links, Inc., producer of Barefoot Cellars wines, has appointed Republic
Beverage and Block Distributing as their new state wide distributor.
Effective April 30th, 2004, Barefoot Cellars will have full distribution
of all their brands throughout Texas. The Barefoot Cellars portfolio
includes Barefoot California, Barefoot Reserve Sonoma County, Barefoot
on the Beach and Barefoot Bubbly 100% Chardonnay Champagne.
Barefoot Cellars has been producing wines
of exceptional value since 1986. Their mission statement is, "To
make the best wine for the best price." The cornerstone of
the winery's business is its velocity-priced wines from California
that retail under $7.00. These wines were awarded over 300 medals
last year and received outstanding quality accolades from many of

Creek Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel.
Barefoot Cellars is making this transition
as the company's sales are hitting record highs. Within the last
4 years, Barefoot Cellars has increased sales and production by
an average of 20% per year in a challenged wine market, culminating
in their most recent award of "Hot Brand" for 2004 by
Impact Magazine.
