the Academy Awards of Sonoma County, the award winners
are announced.
As reported in the Santa Rosa Press Democrat: There were 855 wines,
representing 161 different brands entered into this years
wine competition. All of the wines entered into the Harvest Fair

wineries won multiple gold medals.
There were only 2 wineries which were awarded a GOLD MEDAL for TWO
Pinot Noirs. 2001 Barefoot Reserve Russian River Valley Pinot Noir
and 2002 Barefoot Reserve Russian River Valley Pinot Noir were BOTH
