Barefoot® Cellars Celebrates Hawaiian Style

Santa Rosa, California- February 4, 2005-
Barefoot Cellars started the year off in style
.Hawaiian style
that is! This fast track brand has been known for its irreverent
take on the wine business over the years along with its commitment
to quality, consistency and most of all fun. This year's Zinfandel
Advocates and Producers (ZAP) event at Fort Mason in San Francisco
was no different. In true 'Barefoot Style' the winery assembled
a booth that was unmatched, bringing in their own "tiki"
bar to the event where over 300 wineries attended and poured Zinfandel.
The Barefoot Cellars brand concept has always
been to "Get Barefoot and have a Great Time", and they
have no problem leading by example. With over 10,000 people in attendance,
Barefoot made every effort to get consumers to try their wines.
Those Zinfandel lovers who visited the Barefoot Cellars booth left
adorned with Hawaiian Lei's and stickers, as well as carrying gift
bags and other items that the wine team was handing out. Barefoot
Cellars poured their $5.99 California Zinfandel along side their
$16.99 Reserve 2002 Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel, giving consumers
the opportunity to see the full scope of what the Barefoot winery
has to offer.
Barefoot Cellars has been producing high quality
affordable wines since 1986. Focusing on customer service and brand
awareness, Barefoot Cellars has become one of the fastest growing
brands in the country. One of the key factors to the incredible
growth in popularity of the Barefoot has been the commitment to
quality and consistency. Last year Barefoot Cellars received over
340 medals, more than any other wine in its category. Those medals
are a tribute to the high standards held by the Barefoot Winemaker
Jennifer Wall. "Barefoot has always been focused on giving
the consumer what they want. We want each and every customer to
feel secure in knowing that each time they buy a bottle of Barefoot
it will exceed their expectations," commented Wall.
Barefoot Cellars finished 2004 with a company
record growth of 56% over 2003, qualifying them for the Marvin Shanken,
Impact Magazine Hot Brand Award for the second year in a row. Barefoot
was also recently recognized by the Adams Beverage group as the
Fast Track Growth Brand for 2004.
Barefoot will be attending the 2005,
Zin in the City Spring Tour, for the Zinfandel Advocates and Producers.
The event dates are as follows: San Diego, March 15th, Los Angeles,
March 17th, Chicago, April12th, and New Orleans on April 14th. For
