Sauv Sundae

Adding in wine to a scrumptious dessert is the cherry on top to this Sauv Sundae treat!

Featuring: Cabernet Sauvignon

Servings: 2


  • 5 ounces Barefoot Cabernet Sauvignon
  • 1/2 cup (8 to 10 large) Blackberries – mashed
  • 1-1/2 ounce Chocolate Syrup
  • 9-1/2 ounces Heavy Whipping Cream


  1. Mash blackberries in the bottom of a chilled metal bowl.
  2. Add in chocolate syrup and chilled heavy whipping cream. Whip with a whisk until mixture becomes thick and foamy.
  3. Add wine into mixture an ounce at a time, whipping between each addition.
  4. Once all ingredients are incorporated and mixture has thickened, place mixture into a freezer safe container with lid.
  5. Allow to freeze for 4 to 6 hours or preferably overnight for best results. Serve in small ice cream dish topped with fresh blackberries and whipped cream.
